CITGO PlusPAY:

  • We’re excited to introduce CITGO PlusPAY, a new ACH (Automated Clearing House) payment option now available through the Club CITGO® app. This secure, direct-from-bank payment method offers a seamless experience for your customers and real savings and enhanced customer loyalty for your business.
  • ACH payments offer a secure, efficient, and low-cost alternative to credit cards for businesses and consumers as funds are transferred directly and consistently between bank accounts.
  • ACH is ideal for automated, hassle-free transactions.
  • Members who choose CITGO PlusPAY as their form of payment will receive a one-time Introductory Reward consisting of four (4), 25¢ off per gallon rewards, up to 30 gallons.
  • After that, members will receive at least 10¢ off per gallon, up to 30 gallons, when using CITGO PlusPAY as their payment method. 10¢ = 5¢ for using CITGO PlusPAY, 3¢ for Club CITGO, and 2¢ for mobile pay.

Steps and Actions Required

  • Software Updates: Ensure that your POS software is updated to the latest version that supports Club CITGO. Check with your POS provider for the specific version requirements and update instructions.
  • Configuration Check: Verify that your POS system's configuration settings are correctly set up to accept future transactions through the new integrated system. This may involve enabling certain features, such as inside payments, which allows customers to use their mobile payment methods from inside the store, or entering new credentials provided by CITGO.
  • Hardware Compatibility: Confirm that your POS hardware is compatible with the new software updates. You may need to upgrade or order specific components to ensure full functionality.
    • Locations must have a 2D Barcode Scanner configured to scan QR codes. Contact your equipment distributor to purchase a scanner or TechQuidation, which offers exclusive pricing for CITGO Marketers and CITGO-branded retail locations, including 2-D scanners.
  • Update Your Retailer Profile in myCITGOstore.com: Ensure your business profile is current with the latest information. This includes your contact details, business hours, and any special promotions you are offering.
